About

Hello everyone! My name is Aarav T. I discovered SchoolHouse while exploring the wonderful world of online learning and have gotten obsessed. I am currently working on several passion projects including co-founding an academic-competition subworld and have already aided in the establishment of a slack channel. I am currently learning Pre-calculus and am very competitive! If you are ever interested in math competition prep, or any general math contact me! (+DM me if you want to play some chess!). I am tutor in Reading & Writing, Enrichment, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, History, Statistics, and Computer Science.

Math Competition Preparation - AMC, AoPS, Math Counts, etc.

    77th session

Math Counts? AoPs? AMC 8? AMC 10? Math Kangaroo? Math competitions ??? Are you in need of getting some practice problems 𐄷, some review 💡, or just some time to make your brain critically think 🧠?!!? This series is for you. Join this series full of experienced tutors 🏋️‍♀️ who have competed in international math competitions and are here to help you 🫵 . This group will work to prepare for any math competition that is coming up. From there, we would have multiple activities including but not limited to, mock tests for competitions, try-outs for certain events, weekly or bi-weekly in-house math competitions, and we will even touch on advanced topics that only apply to math-competitions. This course will be a combination of rigorous mastery and practice. The #academic-competitions pilot is focused on creating a dedicated subworld for academic competitions. With contributions from over 5,000 learners and 300 tutors, this initiative includes events such as MATHCOUNTS, AMC, Olympiads, Debate, Quizbowl & many more. Learners eager to participate can sign up by completing this form 📋✍️, while tutors are welcome to share their expertise by joining the #academic-competitions Slack channel 🎓💡. By upvoting our feedback and ideas page 👍🚀, you can help us unlock a new subworld 🌍🔓! Math research and question writing team

    6th session

Each week, we will write math questions and write math research, which will be uploaded to our website. It is expected to have at least algebra 2 knowledge. This is a place for having fun rather than seriously writing math-related things, so you are welcome to have fun here and enjoy math!

AMC 10 Preparation

    4th session

We will go over various practice questions (at least five per session) and then learn concepts from these questions. The first session will be a diagnostic test to see where learners are at; the final session will be a final exam to measure improvement.

It is one of the very rare sessions where one gets to test their prerequisite knowledge to solve challenging questions, and I really enjoy this session. Keep it going!

Thanks for the session! Keep continuing to share your knowledge and prepare the next generation problem solvers.

The session was super fun! Especially the speed math problems in the beginning. Aarav made sure to go into the depths of problem solving, instead of just plainly stating out the way of doing it. I appreciate it!
