In this class, weāll begin with the fundamentals of solving equations, learning how to find the value of a variable that makes an equation true. Weāll explore techniques for solving simple one-step and two-step equations together, using examples to practice and build confidence. After that, weāll introduce the concept of inequalities, which help us understand mathematical relationships that arenāt always equal. Weāll compare equations and inequalities, practice graphing solutions on a number line, and discuss real-world situations where inequalities are used. You will have a 10 question OPTIONAL homework after this session.
