We will go over two important topics of chemistry: molecular geometry and intermolecular forces. If you have trouble with these topics, we'll use the session as an opportunity to answer questions and clear up any confusion.
Welcome to the subworld! We are so excited to have you with us! We have many resources in our Subworld Resource Doc and a great community of tutors and peers to help support your chemistry journey. Feel free to ask questions, help others out or talk Chemistry just for fun! :D

Hi everyone! Just a couple of things to note as a member of this subworld :)
Introduce yourself! We would love to know a bit about you in the Introductions channel of this subworld. Please do share your experience with Chemistry so we can get to know you more!
Ask questions! The Chemistry Help section is for any specific Chemistry questions you may have on a variety of topics that our large community of tutors would be happy to assist you with. However, do also feel free to ask general questions or discuss some of your Chemistry experiences in the Discussion section :D
Assist, but do not take over. If you're helping a learner with a problem, please don't just solve the question for them! Using the Zoom help feature and posing guiding questions to them instead is a much better way of upholding Schoolhouse's policy of active learning at all times.
No question is too small! Don't hesitate to reach out, and be respectful when responding to other people! We are all here to learn so we have to be supportive in order to foster an environment which is conducive for that learning to take place!
Be creative in the sessions you create! Of course, we are happy to see so many sessions helping learners with exams (such as APs, IB, IGCSE, etc) but feel free to be creative with sessions! Knowledge is not limited to a singular test so if you would like to create a session on some of the interesting applications of Chemistry, or have fun Chemistry events like game nights, we strongly encourage you to do so!
Above all, enjoy the subworld and joining everyone in learning more about the wonderful subject. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions to the moderators (Keda Via, Rahul, Sawyer, and Sofia) if you have them :D
