This College Admissions Workshop on The Essay is a virtual 4-week workshop designed to  provide you with structure and support to write your college essays this summer. 

This session focuses on writing your first draft! You'll learn about the potential forms your essay can take and turn free writing from previous sessions into a draft.

This College Admissions Workshop on The Application is a virtual 2-week workshop that will provide you with information and support to submit your college applications.

Your workshop combines the benefits of peer collaboration within a larger cohort of 30 students with the guidance of a trained high school peer tutor who recently completed their own college application process. This creates a unique learning environment where you can gather insights from both your peers and a relatable mentor who understands firsthand what you're going through. Your trained peer tutor will facilitate meaningful group discussions while sharing their personal strategies for success.

You will understand what comes at the end of the application process after you've applied.

As part of an expanded cohort of up to 30 students, you'll benefit from diverse perspectives and collaborative learning opportunities throughout the workshop. This larger group setting allows for rich discussions and peer feedback sessions, while still ensuring you receive the guidance needed to develop your materials. You'll build connections with fellow college-bound students who can offer support and encouragement during this important journey.

This session focuses on reviewing & revising your essay! You'll learn strategies for reviewing your own writing and how to engage others in reviewing their writing.
