I understand the math can be frustrating for many people, but once your grasp it’s concept, it becomes much more manageable. Personally, I’m passionate about teaching math in an engaging and useful manner, making them both interesting and helpful for others.

We'll go over the full course of algebra 1 using the chapters outlined in the Openstax textbook Elementary Algebra 2e and Intermediate Algebra 2e. This series is suitable for learners who have completed the pre-algebra course. Starting on August 13th, 2024 and ending on August 31st, 2024, in each week, there will be three 90-minute sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays covering key concepts. We'll finish all chapters for Elementary Algebra 2e during the summer. There will also be a 90-minute session on Sundays for office hours where you can ask questions and review concepts. More make-up sessions and office hours may be provided by messaging me. We'll go over chapters in Intermediate Algebra 2e during the school year. Math Counts? AoPs? AMC 8? AMC 10? Math Kangaroo? Math competitions ??? Are you in need of getting some practice problems 𐄷, some review 💡, or just some time to make your brain critically think 🧠?!!? This series is for you. Join this series full of experienced tutors 🏋️‍♀️ who have competed in international math competitions and are here to help you 🫵 . This group will work to prepare for any math competition that is coming up. From there, we would have multiple activities including but not limited to, mock tests for competitions, try-outs for certain events, weekly or bi-weekly in-house math competitions, and we will even touch on advanced topics that only apply to math-competitions. This course will be a combination of rigorous mastery and practice. My goal for this series is to provide motivation to study, as studying with others can help increase productivity. I'm also happy to help with any questions you have about study techniques! :) - Bring whatever you would like to work on! Everyone is welcome and you can work on any subject. 📚 - Cameras are not required, but having your camera on may help with accountability. - I ask that participants keep their microphones off during the 25 minute working sessions, but you are welcome to unmute during the five-minute breaks! We will also have check-ins during the pomodoro breaks. 🍅 - If you need help on any topic, let me know! I'd be happy to set up a session with you if I am certified.
