Holiday Celebration Trivia (Blooket and GimKit)

3rd session

Join us in celebrating holidays from around the world with fun trivia! 🎊🌍🎊
Dive into the festivities with engaging questions and occasional informative videos, offering a unique opportunity to explore both well-known and lesser-known celebrations.

The dates for these sessions aren't fixed, as I aim to schedule them based on the most convenient timing shortly beforehand, and they are subject to change. We'll communicate any adjustments and availability in the group chat, so I suggest engaging with it to some extent. Additionally, expect more meetings than those currently listed, as I typically add them just a few days in advance.

  • Co-hosts are welcome to join, edit, host, and contribute to this series if they wish. :)

I'm looking forward to celebrating with everyone! 🎉🥳🎉

🌏 Discussion & Debates 🌍

22nd session

🔥Should we colonize Mars or not? 🔥What if we had one language for the world? 🔥Is your vote in a large election pointless? 🔥Should finance be decentralized? 🔥 These are some of the varied topics we'll discuss in this series. Get ready for lively conversations and debates. Each session has its own unique topic. The sessions are highly participatory 🗣️ and require your full engagement. As much as the sessions are about the content, they are the people 👨‍👨‍👧and the unique perspectives you all bring to the Zoom 📺room. Note: this series is indefinite ♾️. I'll keep adding new sessions. Join if you're interested in getting updates every time we host a new session. You can choose which ones to attend.

School and Schoolhouse.world - Q&A on Autodidactism and Study Tips

66th session

*New sessions added on request* Welcome to School and Schoolhouse.world, a Q&A on the art of learning I've been running for almost a year now! All you need is a Schoolhouse account. Don't have one? Sign Up for free: https://schoolhouse.world/api/auth/signup?ref=u-3rvjjcld4t This series began with study skills: Is notetaking useless? How should you study for exams? Can you ever truly focus on your work? Does listening to music while working help? And can you find time to do things that matter? But it has evolved into an Ask (Almost) Anything on self-directed learning, graduate school applications, studying various humanities disciplines, etc. In some ways, it mirrors my own journey as an autodidact in college and now graduate school. Most sessions are short enough to fit into your daily schedule, and I'll ensure that each of you gets to ask at least one question, and clarify your concerns about studying. So get your questions ready: Ask yourself what you want to ask! It's your questions that drive each session, so please participate either via the mic or chat box.
I'm super-excited to help you learn better inside or outside the classroom. See you in a session! :)

  • Let's Talk About Stress

7:15 PM - 8:15 PM

I have been seeing people posting things about how stressful college searches are going and how emotionally tolling high school can be. Everyone needs a safe space to let them express their emotions (bottling them up is super unhealthy for you. Trust me, I know) This will be a place where you can just rant about everything that has been bothering you lately. This is a zero judgement allowed session, so you are safe to talk freely about your feelings. This can be sort of like a group therapy session. Please don't consider this as a legitimate therapy. We are just talking, I am not capable nor authorized to diagnose anything or offer any treatments. Sorry if that last sentence was weird, I just don't want anyone to be misinformed.
