In this series, we will learn about the day-to-day phrase and writing styles of a native speaker. All sessions will be packed with activities and discussions. Please be advised that all languages taught are informal and used daily. This series will be running for 3 weeks with 6 sessions in total. Pre-requisite: Able to speak English at an intermediate (B1) to early-proficient (C1) level.

The ugly sweater is a winter custom in the United States; when the cold weather arrives, everyone wears one. It's everywhere! It was once labeled as lame and uncool, but thanks to a wave of ugly sweaters, it's making a comeback!  So, that's why this lame but not-so-lame contest is here.  You could go as an audience member, observe the presentation, and vote on who has the best sweater. Or you, as the competitor, attempting to create an impressive enough sweater in a week to bring out and compete. There are 5 categories in total: The best one in general, the most artistic one, the funniest one, the weirdest one, the one with the most Schoolhouse spirit, and "My fav, Idk abt others." Competitors will have a chance to present their sweaters and its meaning in the second session, so no worries if some of them are "weird." Really excited to see those sweaters! Happy designing!!

Or want to work in a hospital as a career? You’ve come to the right place, we’re going to cover the anatomy of the body and the hospital system. Please prepare, a pen and paper, or take notes on a doc because the info you’re receiving is quite large. Units we’re going through: 1. History of Healthcare (Invention, procedure, etc...) 2. Hospital system (Medical Abbreviation, military time, code & equipment) 3. Intro to the Skeletal system 4. Intro to the Circulatory system

We will have a trip through three-part of Vietnam: North, South, and Central. While we're there we will learn about the cuisine, landmark, and some vocabulary that is commonly used. It's a 2 week-long series made up and mixed between fun and educational. While we are on these trips we would learn about the phrases. For example, if we at a famous market, you will learn how to say "How much are these oreanges" or something similar. I really recommend having a pen and paper to write these down as we go. The session is very active so I recommend participating, unmuting yourself, annotating onto the Jamboard, etc. What will we do in these parts? We will go to a landmark and I will be your tour guide, I will tell you about it, you ask questions and then we learn Vietnamese. You're still thinking about it? "Tiếng Việt còn, người Việt còn" English: We will go through everything you will need to know to have a simple basic knowledge of small chats every day and the culture of the Vietnamese people. And you will understand and read simple words within the 2-3 letter range. You may also want a notebook, pen, or something to take notes with.
