If you have a basic grasp of English and want to take the next step towards fluency, this course is for you! We'll cover a variety of topics like grammar, sentence structure, capitalization and punctuation to communicate more effectively, basic vocab, common phrases, listening and speaking activities, reading comprehension, and more English help to aid you on your journey of becoming a fluent English speaker. We'll have fun, interactive activities every class, and (optional) work will be assigned every week to really cement your English skills. What happens when young minds across the globe sit down to question the world, together? In this club, we pull at the strands of big ideas - free will, war, capitalism, governance - and see where they lead in today's world. It’s not about debating who’s right. It’s about exploring what’s possible. Speak freely and think deeply. Let’s weave a new kind of conversation! Join a virtual Dialogue Club to form a community with students from around the world. Dialogue Clubs meet every other week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners.

Every session or so, we'll cover a new topic that will help you get a good understanding of the fundamentals behind drawing people (or characters) in semi realistic and other styles (such as webcomics). What we will work on: - Gesture and Figure drawing (dynamic poses) - Heads (planes of the face, features and expressions) - Simplified Colouring and Shading (digitally) - Stylization (comics/manga styles) For getting started, all you need is a pencil and some paper. Watercolours and digital drawing software such as IbisPaint/Krita will be needed later in the course for sessions covering digital art.

Are you looking to code or learn new concepts in computer science!? Well, welcome to probably one of your first programming classes! 🤖 [SHORT COURSE] You don't have to have any background in coding, just a device with internet! We're going to start from scratch (😆 like the website) and build up on the fundamentals so hopefully this can guide you to making your very own projects in the near future!! Some things we'll look at: -> why do we need to program? Intro to the scratch website. -> looking at all of the block types and what they all do - experimenting -> seeing some project ideas and selecting one to do -> learning more and going deeper - what do we do next? -> algorithms and goals -> real world applications and problem-solving creativity! (not in this order specifically, just a brief overview of topics we'll cover!) Each class we'll try to be activity oriented and outcome based rather than just mugging up information or making it like a onetime interest which you drop after the series ends, so I hope this comes of use to you! Interaction is always optimal in the sessions and will help you understand a lot better, so I highly encourage it!

Hey guys! Do you want to draw together with everyone and learn how to improve any skills? Well you're in the perfect place! This series is for anyone who's interested to draw- from a pen and paper to even digitally! Everybody's welcome! Every session there will be art challenges, spin the wheels or just a sit together with drawing! Any medium is okay, only requirement: the will to draw! Timing and number of days we have class can change if required or later on! We will be doing tiny exercises in the beginning and then moving towards freestyle and group drawing sessions! Hey everyone, do you want to learn how to do digital art with an iPad, Procreate and an Apple pencil (not required but recommended for the best experience)? Well, this is the right place then! We’re going to be learning all about procreate! It’s an art app for drawing digitally on the App Store (iPad only but you can get a procreate pocket edition on iPhone) and if you don't have it, you can buy it. We’re gonna start from the beginning altogether so no prior knowledge is required. :) Some brief topics we'll cover together: -> How to make a canvas, set up everything -> Different types of brushes, making your own -> Starting to sketch out and draw, colouring the base -> Finishing the image, looking at modes/effects/filters!
