About

If you have a basic grasp of English and want to take the next step towards fluency, this course is for you! We'll cover a variety of topics like grammar, sentence structure, capitalization and punctuation to communicate more effectively, basic vocab, common phrases, listening and speaking activities, reading comprehension, and more English help to aid you on your journey of becoming a fluent English speaker. We'll have fun, interactive activities every class, and (optional) work will be assigned every week to really cement your English skills. I can also help with English-related homework and assignments and edit essays and such for school!

Shameless Advertisement: If you want to learn specifically about English grammar and vocabulary, check out this series (also tutored by me!). We'll meet at 10-11 AM (EST) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and loosely follow Khan Academy's curriculum for grammar. Fewer people can join this series, so there's more individual focus and specialized lessons. Also, unlike this class, you can attend classes only when you feel like it.https://schoolhouse.world/series/52211

Hey I'm Aeparish! I'm from India and I'm 14- in 9th grade with the power of home/online schooling. I’m here to expand on my interests and try learning new topics! ‎ Updated: 22/08/2025 (👉゚ヮ゚)👉 Check out the sessions I'm hosting! ‎ I’m extremely interested in astronomy- be it with physics or biology. Some topics I love and am getting into are exoplanets, black holes, quantum physics and more. I can’t say I’m super well versed with them but I’m always up for a nice discussion on it or simply researching! I’ve been into it since I was a little 6-year-old, drifting from indecisiveness but ending back here. I've even participated in the NASA Hackathon 4 (+more to come) years in a row so I have experience including multiple courses and events. For my future, I know I’ll be doing something involved with these. ‎ I love drawing both digitally (on procreate) and on paper, including animation whenever I feel like it. Using blender to 3D model is something I’ve been loving recently, even building legos from time to time (mostly original builds which I cherish). I'm writing a research paper related to rigging and UV maps, nearing completion so I can then publish. ‎ Outside, you'll probably see me taking photos of different bugs or collecting sticks and rocks. I also collect sheddings and exoskeletons of bugs or snakes so.. Be prepared for extensive talking on this in some of my sessions! I guess I’m the ‘explorer’ type. Discussing topics about the future and philosophy is interesting and I highly recommend you try it. ‎ Lastly, I code in a bunch of languages (Scratch, Gdevelop, C++, Python, HTML & CSS) and use game development for projects involving hackathons or competitions for example getting into semifinalists globally @ Technovation 2025. I also speak a bunch including english, hindi (not writing or reading), and french. ‎ Feel free to message me for any doubts on these topics/subjects. Even programs I've mentioned! I'm happy to help guide you. Being a dialogue club president here at schoolhouse means I've also attended over 35! I actively host one-off’s so if you’d like to see more, feel free to follow me.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

If I decide to do this, I'll give you the full instructions in week 7's session. You'll have a week to work on the project, then present in session 8 (encouraged because of the feedback you'll receive, but optional if you're uncomfortable). Very low-stakes, don't stress!!
