Hey I'm Aeparish! I'm from India and I'm 14- in 9th grade with the power of home/online schooling. I’m here to expand on my interests and try learning new topics! Updated: 22/08/2025 (👉゚ヮ゚)👉 Check out the sessions I'm hosting! I’m extremely interested in astronomy- be it with physics or biology. Some topics I love and am getting into are exoplanets, black holes, quantum physics and more. I can’t say I’m super well versed with them but I’m always up for a nice discussion on it or simply researching! I’ve been into it since I was a little 6-year-old, drifting from indecisiveness but ending back here. I've even participated in the NASA Hackathon 4 (+more to come) years in a row so I have experience including multiple courses and events. For my future, I know I’ll be doing something involved with these. I love drawing both digitally (on procreate) and on paper, including animation whenever I feel like it. Using blender to 3D model is something I’ve been loving recently, even building legos from time to time (mostly original builds which I cherish). I'm writing a research paper related to rigging and UV maps, nearing completion so I can then publish. Outside, you'll probably see me taking photos of different bugs or collecting sticks and rocks. I also collect sheddings and exoskeletons of bugs or snakes so.. Be prepared for extensive talking on this in some of my sessions! I guess I’m the ‘explorer’ type. Discussing topics about the future and philosophy is interesting and I highly recommend you try it. Lastly, I code in a bunch of languages (Scratch, Gdevelop, C++, Python, HTML & CSS) and use game development for projects involving hackathons or competitions for example getting into semifinalists globally @ Technovation 2025. I also speak a bunch including english, hindi (not writing or reading), and french. Feel free to message me for any doubts on these topics/subjects. Even programs I've mentioned! I'm happy to help guide you. Being a dialogue club president here at schoolhouse means I've also attended over 35! I actively host one-off’s so if you’d like to see more, feel free to follow me.
Hello, everyone. My name is Joseph. I am a homeschooled high school rising senior from China, yet I am enrolled in an American program. I am the Founder of the Reading and Writing Subworld and a former moderator (Nov 2023-May 2025); I am now a moderator of the Tutor Subworld. On Schoolhouse, I mainly focus on hosting and constructing community events, like game nights and academic competitions. I also tutor English literature and the Chinese language. I played the instrument Hulusi (gourd flute), a traditional Chinese instrument, and reached the top level in 2022; I also have fundamental knowledge of piano and the Chinese bamboo flute. I enjoy creating with art, especially ink pen sketching and digital; I also enjoy creating atlases for imaginary worlds. In my free time, I like to play video games (Honor of Kings, Arena Breakout, and Minecraft), rollerblade, play soccer, and watch movies. I am a very active tutor on Schoolhouse, and I love to make friends! Feel free to reach out with anything you might need help with, and I am willing to lend a hand if it is within my power.

Hey guys! I’m Mattis, a homeschooled 9th grader currently living in Shenzhen, China! I’m really into art (digital and ordinary pen+paper) and I love writing fiction novels (two of them, Ebse Nexus and Bombardment B, are nearly done), which are typically a blend of sci-fi and fantasy. I’m a big fan of Duolingo I have a 1800+ day streak (over 4 years now) and 1.5 million XP. Since I learn mostly through khan academy videos and exercises, I am really thankful to Sal Khan for making this possible. I used to be very active on Khan Academy (before I got muted for some reason) and I decided to come here to help people with R&W on its subworld. I’m a total extrovert and can always be found attending and hosting sessions and answering people’s questions!! I’ve been shortlisted for the John Locke Essay Competition, scored 89% on an actual university German test, and gotten a 5 on my Environmental Science AP test. Here are some of my achievements on SHW: —Having hosted 350 sessions —Having reached 1200 helpful and super helpful ratings —Having attended 250 sessions —Having won the Historia event on schoolhouse. —Having met Sal Khan. Some fun facts about me: I joined Schoolhouse on August 24, 2024, so I’ve been on it for 1 year already! I became a tutor on October 14, 2024 at 7:10-7:11 pm GMT+8. I reached Platinum Level (5000 SP) at 12:07 AM GMT+8, July 3, 2025 (a few days after my birthday). I got my shoutout at 12:43 am. Average SP/day (updated weekly): 17.32 My MBTI Personality Type is ENFP-A, Campaigner. My Hogwarts House is Gryffindor. I know a lot of people really want to be Gryffindor, but I actually prefer Slytherin. My favorite games are: Minecraft, Krunker.io (#1 class: Triggerman), War of Sticks, Gimkit (recently became a huge fan), and Chess (on chess.com). My favorite books: Harry Potter, LOTR, and Percy Jackson. I’m hosting an ongoing session on the latter. My favorite movies are: Inside Out, Incredibles, Star Wars My favorite songs are: Unstoppable, Chandelier, When We Were Young, Hello My favorite colors: Purple, Indigo, Turquoise, Black. I hate orange. As for hobbies, I have a ton of them: Writing fiction, chess, speed typing (avg. speed roughly 80-90 wpm, record 117 wpm), drawing my characters, and reading books. I absolutely adore drawing and try to make at least three a day. Right now I’m learning German, Mandarin Chinese (both on Duolingo), and conlangs, mostly Ebsian, a language I created for my stories.
