Mastering SAT Math Topic by Topic w/ Perfect-Scorer

In this series, we'll cover every topic of math that you'll need to know in the Digital SAT and practice SAT-level, if not harder questions to get you ready for your SAT! I went from a 600 on my first test to a 800 on December 2nd within just 2 months following this study plan and would love to share it with the SWH community!

Here's how the series & sessions will be structured:
﻿
Each week will have 2 75-minute long sessions. In each session, we will spend the first 40~ minutes practicing and learning concepts and practice a mix of easy and hard questions on that topic.
﻿
The next 20-30 minutes will involve a timed test that we will take on the topic. 
﻿
And any remaining time will be for asking questions/going over the mini-test.
﻿
In the middle of the series, we'll have a "mid-term" test that goes over everything we've covered so far and at the end of the series, we'll have a "final" test to make sure we all improved and clear up any last-minute final doubts.
﻿
I'll also host office hour sessions periodically incase you have any questions/want to go over any specific problems.
﻿
Sessions will be taught mainly through slideshows; I will have a google doc with all the presentation links you guys will have access to.

The goal for this series is to take you guys through the same method I used to help me improve fast on Math. This series is for the Digital SAT.

Quick Writing (Closed)

The goal of this series is to help improve our writing skills in a really fun way! We will meet 2 - 3 times a week for the next month or so.  Most of the sessions, we will have a prompt and each of us will have 60 seconds to write about it and then we will share our writing. It's supposed to be a QUICK write, no thinking, just writing!

Other writing things we will do:
- You have to pitch a really terrible product to us and somehow convince us to buy it
- We each write one sentence and then give our writing to someone else to build upon and see the story at the end!
- 60 seconds to write about a random thing 
- Writing a full story (plot, arc, etc.) in under 10 minutes
- Generate a random phrase and make a story out of it
- Generate a random first/last phrase and our stories have to start/end with the phrase!
+ A ton more activites we'll do

The sessions will be pretty short (20 - 40) minutes long depending on what we are doing that day, it's supposed to a fun way we can come together!

**Microphones MUST be on; we will be sharing out stories with each other, etc.**

AP/Honors Biology Full Course (Alternative Time)🧪

(Series is still open for anyone to join!) We will go through all of the vital biology/AP biology topics so you can get a head-start next year! This course requires no Prior knowledge needed/Complete beginner course!. This course is 7 weeks long and each week will consist of a specific unit. It will take place on both Saturdays and Sundays every week throughout the summer. The goal of this course is to teach you guys vital biology concepts so that you are prepared for the next school year. When I mean to teach you vital concepts, I mean EVERYTHING. We will be learning from the ground up, there are no prerequisites to this class. Here are the topics:

- Unit 1: Science Processing Skills. (Dependent Variable, Independent Variable, Hypothesis, characteristics of living things, etc.)
- Unit 2: Biochemistry. (Water, pH scale, properties of water, etc.)
- Unit 3: Cells (Functions of cells, types of cells, etc.)
- Unit 4: Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration, Energy (Respiration, photosynthesis, chemical reactions, etc.)
- Unit 5: Cell growth and division (Mitosis, Meiosis, Cell Cycle, etc.)
- Unit 6: DNA (RNA, DNA, protein synthesis, Base pairing, etc.)
- Unit 7: Genetics (Traits, Alleles, Gene Expression, punnet squares, etc. )

The only things you need to bring to these sessions are a paper/pencil for notes and a drive to learn! Saturdays will be for learning and Sundays will be for practicing and reinforcing the concepts that we learned! Each class will have homework and there will be quizzes throughout! More sessions will be added as we progress through the series

**Participation is a MUST. This series will involve a lot of practice questions and interactivity, so I at least ask all of you to participate, whether you want to unmute, talk in the chat, etc.**

**THIS course is the EXACT same as the original course. Only sign up for this course if you are not able to make the times for the original one, please don't sign up for both because it limits other students from joining and getting the opportunity to learn.
