This is an introductory session to Desmos, consisting of all the basic foundations: manipulating functions/equations, tables & regressions, graphing data, statistical calculations, finding intersections, solving for solutions and intercepts, etc. We will go through multiple example problems from the Collegeboard SAT Suite Question Bank together and them individually.
This session would be helpful for those who recently discovered Desmos, are interested in learning the foundations of Desmos, and especially those who are completely new to Desmos and want to start experimenting with it.

As someone who scored a 1530 on the September 2025 SAT (750 Math and 780 R&W), I'd love to help you do the same (or get even higher)! During this session, I'll be going over how to leverage the Desmos Calculator to your advantage. There are so many tips and tricks that students are unaware of, and these can save you both valuable time and your score. Students of all score ranges are welcome to join us! For this session, please make sure you have a device where you can access the Desmos website so you can follow along with the tricks that I show you. I can't wait to meet everyone :)

In this series I will be covering the 4 advanced level Math skills for the SAT: Algebra, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, Advanced Math, & Geometry and Trigonometry, while heavily leaning on using the full range of Desmos tools.
Is this course for you?
This course welcomes anybody and everybody who wants to join. However, it will be particularly suited to you if you:
- Have an intermediate or advanced understanding of the math skills for the SAT.
- Have an intermediate understanding of how to use Desmos.
- Have been scoring 650+ and your goal is to score 700+ on the Math section.
If this doesn't sound like you, you are still more than welcome to tag along, but it might be the case that the topics and level are not aligned with your current needs or wants.
What will you get from this course?
You can expect to hone your skills for the advanced math questions on the SAT, spending less time on them during the test and seeing improvement in your scores.

There are only a few question types that CollegeBoard asks at the end of the math module, so once you understand them, you should be able to solve those last few questions in the second module. This is mostly designed for students scoring in the 600-790 band, but students of any score range are welcome to join us! I can't wait to meet everyone :)
