SAT Prep Series

Digital SAT Math

13th session

Each week, we will focus on a specific section of the DSAT found on khan academy. I expect the learners to come to me about any weak points and briefly review the material ahead of time. When time permits, we will work through additional practice problems.
We will follow Khan Academy's units, but begin with the foundational lesson, then medium followed by advanced before moving to the next topic. Ex: Foundations Algebra-> Medium Algebra-> Advanced Algebra. Ideally, some foundations and mediums will overlap on the same day, but the idea is not to rush the lessons.
This series is intended to prepare students for the March test date. To keep the group relatively in the same range, students should have math scores around 500-650

ACE the DSAT Math Section (MAY + JUNE Test-Takers): A Perfect Scorer's Guide to an 800 on the Math Section!

9th session

Are you looking to score high on the math section of your next SAT (May/June)? Look no further. In this interactive series, we will go through each of the 4 domains of the DSAT Math Section (Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry). We will discuss tips and strategies and practice the content through REAL SAT QUESTIONS to improve your SAT math score to its highest.

Qualifications: I scored an 800 Math on the December 2023 US SAT and hope to help you guys reach your target score as well!

Here's how the series will be structured:

Each week will have 2 75-minute long sessions. In each session, we will spend some time practicing and learning concepts through questions.

At the end of each session we will take a timed test on the topic. Afterwards, we will use the remaining time to go over the mini-test.

During the course, a "mid-term" assessment will be conducted to review all the material covered thus far. Upon reaching the conclusion of the series, a "final" test will be administered to assess our progress and address any remaining questions.

I will conduct office hour sessions at regular intervals to provide an opportunity for questions and to review specific problems if you have any.

Hope to see everyone there!

SAT R&W Prep for May/June SAT

5th session

Are you taking the May or June SATs? Then this prep series is for you.

Each week, we will be going over strategies and practice problems for specific topics in the SAT R&W section. My goal is that you will be able to master the different types of questions on the R&W and spot out the right answers from the wrong. I will also be offering an optional Office Hours the day before each session where you can come with specific questions you have for both R&W and the Math and go through them with me.

I have designed this series to be more for higher scorers (low 600s-low 700s). If you are not in this score range, you can still sign up but just keep that in mind.

Studying for the SAT, like anything else, is a fight with yourself. Actively participate in this series and prove to yourself that you can score that 800 that you wanted.

SAT Math Practice Tests Walkthrough w Digital SAT Math 790 Scorer

3rd session

Hi, I took Digital SAT this March (my first time SAT) and got 790. I'd like to work with you to help get your dream score.

Each week we spend 2 sessions to go over Official Digital SAT Practice Test Module 1 and Module 2.

This will cover all three levels (easy, medium, and hard), especially if you did Bluebook practice test and didn't get a chance to do the harder Module 2 just because you didn't do well enough in Module 1.

For my SAT prep, I didn't go to any prep schools or paid prep websites. I only used Khan Academy and College Board practice tests. Because of this, I'd like to give back to Khan Academy and share my firsthand digital SAT experience.

SAT Cram Session

7th session

Hello, this is a series to cover all your general questions about SAT. We will start each week with a new topic and go up the ladder in difficulty of questions for that topic. We will alternate between math and reading every week. If you have any questions, feel free to drop it in the session

As someone who took the DSAT, I know that it is a novel yet frightening experience both for new SAT takers and the past paper test takers. When I was taking the DSAT, guides are scarce but thankfully, I know a few tips and tricks which enabled me to thankfully get a 1540.

This will be a fast paced course as we will be going from beginner to advanced level questions on every topic. There will be a 10 minute break each session as each session runs for 90 minutes.

This course is especially designed for May 4th test takers. But of course, everyone is welcome!

  • SAT Mega Review Session

10:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Hey, prospective DSAT takers!

If you’re taking the 5/4 DSAT, this session is a great place to review topics (both R&W and Math) that you’ve had issues with in the past and to ask any and all questions you may have about content, test-taking strategies, and what to expect on test day!

If you have specific topics that you’d like us to review during the session, please let us know in the welcome question. Learner-requested content review will take up roughly the first 30-45 minutes of the session. During the session, learners are encouraged to ask questions via a Google form that will be shared live. Live questions can be about anything, but we can’t promise that we’ll be able to cover content-based questions in-depth if they are not submitted ahead of time.

Hope to see you there!

NOTES:
- Co-hosts are welcome to apply, as the presence of multiple hosts will make it easier to answer questions and provide different perspectives. Co-host requests will be taken until Friday, April 26.
- Co-hosts will be expected to attend a pre-session Slack huddle on Monday, April 29, at 5:30 CDT. (Accommodations can be made for special reasons.)
- Sign-ups after Saturday, April 27, aren't as likely to have their "weakest area/concept" topic prioritized in the session.
