Math Module 2 Prep with Math 790 Scorer

9th session

Start your March SAT prep now! On the real SAT, the math problems won't be organized by topic. Each 22 question module mixes and matches all sorts of math problems. In this series I will share "homemade" Module 2s that I made to prepare for my SAT. Each has 22 hard questions all from the College Board Question Bank, with as same as its distribution of the 4 domains. I will go over the problems by using Desmos and thinking on paper, also sometimes give a 10-minute mini quiz so you know how good you are at module 2 level problems. This series is best for math section score range from high 500 to high 600, but also for anyone who likes doing hard math. More sessions will be added on.

  • How to ACTUALLY self-study for the DSAT!

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Have you been told to "study smart, not hard" but aren't sure how to? Studying for ages and not seeing any improvement? Don't have much time to study and want to make it count? Super-stressed and not sure where to start?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, then this session is for you :)

I'll provide some practical tips for self-studying, and the session will also be open to questions so I can personalize advice for individual participants.

The reality is that you can take all the SAT courses and sign up for all the tutoring in the world, but at the end of the day, if you don't take responsibility for your own progress, you simply aren't giving yourself the best shot.

I'd love to help you... help yourself! :)

Note: This is a repeat of one of my most-requested sessions :)

  • COMPLETE Grammar Review for Mar. 2025 DSAT

10:00 PM - 11:30 PM

This session will cover ALL the grammar topics and questions that you will encounter on the DSAT! This is mainly covered by the Standard English Conventions Domain, which we will be reviewing throughly. There will be very easy-to-understand lessons on the topics covered, followed by practice questions, and then a 20 minute Mini-practice exam for the DSAT at the end. This allows for learners of all English levels to join and participate in this lesson! No materials will be required other than a notebook or pencil if you want to take notes.

The Grammar portion isn't very big, but if you can consistently get all the questions right and understand all the concepts that can pop up on DSAT grammar questions, you'll have a consistent base of points to gain on the R&W Section of the exam!

Lesson Plan for this Session
  1. What is "Standard English Conventions"?
  2. Boundaries - Topic
  3. Boundaries - Practice
  4. Form, Structure & Sense - Topic
  5. Form, Structure & Sense - Practice
