Upcoming Sessions

Intro to Competitive Programming

    Starts

Every session, we'll go over a fundamental concept in competitive programming and solve practice questions based on them! The series will start from the basics, so a good understanding of basic programming in any language (preferably C++, Java, or Python) should be enough. Whether you're preparing for contests like USACO, Codeforces, or just want to strengthen your problem-solving skills, this series will help you build a solid foundation step by step! Hope to see you all in the series :)

I love how you never put the learner down when they make a mistake, but gently say that it is incorrect and guide them to the correct answer/step. A great example of you doing this would be when the learner suggested using u substitution and you never said they were wrong but helped them realize that the term could be simplified without u substitution. I like how you started with a quick introduction about yourself. You could add some quick hobbies or things you enjoy doing to build a closer relationship and community with learners. This would also help to facilitate more conversation and a foster a more friendly environment.

Excellent explanations. The use of the whiteboard and Desmos really helps visualize the problem, which the learner did state they were struggling with. I love how you broke down what an improper integral was just by looking at the name. I like how you kept bringing up examples of normal integrals to reinforce underlying concepts for the learner and then to show where improper ones differ. There were a few minor tech issues, such as the learner's mic not working, but you effectively adapted the session to have them explain in chat and it didn't become a major disruption.
