Hello, everyone! Come join us in reviewing the first Semester of AP Statistics. We will be revisiting Units 1-4 of the course involving Variable Data, Collecting Data, Random Variables, and Sampling Distributions.  This curriculum is similar to the one that helped me achieve a score of 5 on the AP Statistics Exam and an 800 score of the Math Portion of the December SAT. Our session will be interactive, providing Study Guides and allowing for you to ask questions on any aspect of Statistics. We'll also cover essential calculator skills and other useful tips to boost your confidence and understanding. Looking forward to seeing you there and helping you ace your AP Statistics Midterms!

Hello Bakers! Welcome! Do you like baking? Have you ever wanted to share a recipe you invented? Do you want more people to try out your recipes? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, here's your chance. This is a Baking Contest right here at Schoolhouse, where you will get three days to come up with an original recipe (But you can get inspiration online!) bake it, give it a name, and take a picture and a video (of you explaining your desserts, and a sneak-peek of you baking it) of your dessert that you will then submit for the competition. There are no requirements to participate, just a love for baking. Six judges will look at all the submissions and decide which one is the best recipe! The rubric that judges will be using for the competition will be shared shortly after the orientation session, where more information will be given. 🤩The winners will receive King Arthur Baking Company gift cards, more info on that in the orientation session. Welcome to the 'Math in Motion' Study Group! In these sessions, students will focus on working on their math questions/practice/assignments following the Pomodoro Method for periods of 25 minutes, followed by 5 minute breaks. During the sessions, I will be spinning a wheel of topics (based on the Welcome Question) to select a few to provide resources for. During the breaks, students can ask questions, and converse with peers; Alba will also share helpful personalized tips. This study group is intended to allow learners to have greater periods of concentration on math assignments while being with a group of students working on similar goals, and with a tutor happy to assist.
