Session Details

About

This session will be a competition in which we will give a mock AMC (American Mathematics Competition) 10 we have written, and everyone will have 75 minutes to take and submit the test. After this, we will be going over some of the problems that stumped most competitors over the next 45 minutes. This test is not readily available online, and it will only be released at the start of the session. Please familiarize yourself with the rules and protocols of a real AMC 10 before the session, as we will be using them here. If at least 15 learners participate in this mock, then the top five scorers in this competition will be announced and will receive certificates! Note: If you have taken a Mock AMC 10 session by us before, we will always be using the same test. These sessions are intended to only be taken at most once.

Tutor Qualifications

Taiki and Ryan have both contributed to many mock AMC competitions on the AoPS Mock Contests forum on the AoPS website, most notably the De Mathematics Competitions (DMC), over the past two years. They have received feedback from test-takers, most of which is positive feedback on the quality of the problems. Taiki has also qualified for the American Invitational Math Exam (AIME) three times, while Ryan has qualified for the AIME twice.
