About
Hi! In this session, I hope to help answer your questions on how to study for the AMC competitions. I hope to share my experiences and hear from others about how they have studied for these competitions or really any math learning. Feel free to drop in and talk about your math journey! :)
For some background, I come from a state where very few people even know about the competitions. There are about only two schools in my entire state that regularly send students to these top math competitions. For anyone also in areas where there are little resources for the AMC, I hope this session can help you.
Tutor Qualifications
I have completed the AoPS books, Prealgebra, Intro to Algebra, Intro to Geometry, and Intermediate Algebra. I have done well on the AMC8 and AMC10 as well as qualified for the AIME. I am a Maryam Mirzakhani Certificate of Excellence Winner. I've always found competition math interesting but also challenging which is why I hope to help other students on their competition math journey. :)
