About

At college level chemistry, we will explore various methods to observe the changes that occur during a chemical reaction, the factors that influence reaction rate, and how it relates to a series of elementary reactions.

Topics will include:
-Reaction rate
-Introduction to rate law
-Elementary reactions
-Collision model
-Introduction to reaction mechanisms
-Multistep reaction energy profile

You will be expected and required to be familiar with chemical reactions from college/AP chemisty.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

You are free to attend/skip whichever sessions you want, but you should be aware that each session will build on each other.

About the Tutor

I am a high school senior. I have a passion for computer science, astrophysics, and history. I am joining Schoolhouse to be able to share some of my knoweldge with others who need it the most, while at the same time trying to get help in areas I need help in as well. Science education in the U.S. is really dumbed down and slow, so I taught myself some advanced topics for an 11th grader thanks to how accessible all this information is nowadays, especially Khan Academy! I speak English, Spanish (somewhat fluent), and French (somewhat fluent).
