What is a rigid transformation? What makes a reflection? What sequences can get us from one figure to another? In this course, we will be answering these questions and more. We will have 6 sessions in total, here is our schedule: Session 1: Orientation & intro to euclidean geometry Session 2: Intro to rigid transformations, translations, and rotations Session 3: Reflections and dilations Session 4: Preserved properties of transformations Session 5: symmetry and proofs Session 6: Review!

Orientation

In this session, I will be introducing myself and you will introduce yourselves! I will briefly discuss each of the topics we will be learning and the schedule. Then I will talk about euclidean geometry to get us started!
