This summer, we welcome a new addition to the Schoolhouse experience, drumroll please… introducing Schoolhouse Summer Camp 2022! This one-of-a-kind Summer Camp started on June 20th and is running until August 31st. It consists of sessions hosted by Camp Counselors on a variety of topics- from coding to cooking!
So how can you join this adventure?
1. Participate in Summer Camp
Everyone is welcome to participate in the Summer Camp! In order to access the wide array of sessions, all you have to do is create a Schoolhouse.world account if you do not already have one. Once approved, you can register for any sessions you like - there is no limit to how many you can attend, but just be aware that spots fill up fast!
2. Sign up for the Summer Camp 2022 Series
You can register for the official Summer Camp 2022 series to attend events relating to the Summer Camp, including the kickoff and grand finale. For now, the Summer Camp Send-off is scheduled for August 29th.
3. Become a Camp Counselor
If you are a tutor who would like to become a Camp Counselor, you may fill out this form with information about your relevant session or series. Although the Summer Camp has already started, they are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis, so you will be notified if your session/series is selected to be added to the camp. You will also receive a Camp Counselor badge for hosting a session for the Summer Camp!
4. Learn and Have Fun
Learning and having fun is what Summer Camp is all about! You can make new friends and memories along the way. Summer Camp sessions can offer you new and exciting discoveries, all for free! Sometimes the best way to learn about something is to expose yourself directly to it. If you find it helpful, you may take notes after Summer Camp sessions on what you have learned! It's completely up to you on how you want to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, but make sure you have fun!
