Physics Series

7

General High School Physics

Starts

We'll go over basic high school physics principles as outlined in the Khan Academy High School Physics course as well as some AP Physics 1 Material from past exams, etc.

Note that I am currently taking the course, so I will mostly be teaching this course as a general high school physics course from the beginning rather than an AP Physics 1 review series.

This session will be very fast-paced as I am trying to cover a lot of material in a very short time.

AP Physics 1 Series - FROM A 5 SCORER!!!

Starts

I will be going over all of physics 1! I will be doing so by giving an overview of each concept, and providing problem sets in the form of worksheets, Khan Academy, and Kahoot! Please join, as my goal is for participants to score well on the AP Physics 1 exam!

Physics C E&M Group

2nd session

There are two modes of session we can choose from. !. A study circle. We can share our confusion and discuss a topic each week together. 2. Lecturey type. I can go over the each week by myself. (I'm leaning towards the former because long series tend to result in inconsistencies in attendance).

You should have a solid foundation in calculus (mainly differentiation and integration). Don't be frightened if you don't know it. It can be learned pretty quickly. But my idea for this group is that we won't be lingering on a basic function's derivatives.

Session amount and date TBD.

Competitive Physics: Mechanics (Including Olympiad Material)

11th session

Starting from the beginning of Physics, we'll go through all of the topics covered on the first step of the Physics Olympiad, or the F=MA. Topics covered include kinematics, statics, Newton's laws, momentum and energy, oscillations, orbital mechanics, fluids, and elementary dimensions. I'll be going through official F=MA exams after each topic we learn, so there should be tons of potential for active learning!

Conceptual Physics

2nd session

The problem with physics is not the math that is hard, but that some of its concepts are downright confusing, like Newton's third law of motion and imaginary centrifugal force. This series aims to correct that by giving you an intuitive knowledge of physics' laws to prevent you from getting stuck ever again!

Solar Mechanics🔋

3rd session

The importance of solar energy cannot be understated! Deconstruct the physics behind sunlight and solar panels to understand their efficiency in-depth!

Schoolhouse Physics Club

5th session

We're back! After months of silence, the Schoolhouse Physics Club is back, in our new home in the Physics Subworld. "The Pleasure of Finding Things Out", as Feynman said, so let's figure it out! This is the club where all Physics enthusiasts meet every Wednesday!
