Every week, we're going to go over different intro to neuroscience topics! This is gonna be a fun series, with hopefully some guest speakers in the future, and different activities. I hope to grow a supportive and fun community that is interested in neuroscience on Schoolhouse! The curriculum in this series is similar to that of the Brain Bee, but I will be expanding on more based on my experience in my internships and courses such as neuroimaging!

Are you someone who loves following & discussing economic news? Staying up to date with the market & the economy around the world is crucial, and sharing thoughts on it with someone else can add you great insights. However, findinding a mate to discuss economy is like finding a needle in a haystack, as school kids seem to be more interested in gossip in school than stuffs like inflation and interest rates that are affecting the whole world. This craving drived me to create 'The Late Late Econ Talk' here on schoolhouse. I borrowed the theme of late-night TV programs to name this special series. Just like late night talk show, we will discuss what happened in the economy this week in a very relaxed environment. Every Saturday before you go to bed, drop by 'The Late Late Econ Talk' for 30 minutes, and it will be the perfect recap of the week. I will post major economic events of the week we could discuss with bullet points at least 7 hours before the session starts. Feel free to leave the issues you want to dicuss, and you could also share the link of the news article you want the members to take a look. And don't feel pressured—If any topic you are not familiar with appears, others who are well-informed about the topic will explain. We will not rush; instead we will always make sure that everyone shares the same level of understanding before we delve into discussion. Practically, I am trying to see what would happen if we hosted a series that is pretty much like 9th grade and we keep it running until May, when the school year ends. By joining, you are gonna have a lot of fun! Each session is 30 minutes long and there are only 4 sessions a day! You are not required to attend all of them but it would be nice to because who knows what our amazing tutors, now teachers, have in store for you! Chess is a wonderful game requiring strategy and tactic. In this series, we will be adding some mixture by playing chess variants. Chess variants are basically chess, but with different rules. It will be a lot of fun and a way to think differently when playing. The chess variants that we will play in this series include: - Chess960 - Crazyhouse - King of the HIll - Three Check For this tournament, we will be playing on lichess.org. Please make sure to create an account on lichess.org before attending the tournament. If you do not have an account, you will NOT be able to participate.

In this series, we will play Kahoots on some random topics and have fun. In each session, we will have a topic and we will play various Kahoots in that topic.

In this series, we will learn the basic of one of the oldest languages in the world. Some background information about Sanskrit: - Many Indian scriptures like the Vedas and Bhagavad Gita are written in Sanskrit. - Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages. - Many Indian languages are derived from Sanskrit like Hindi and Marathi. No prior knowledge is required to attend this series. In this series, we will learn the following: - Simple Sanskrit Phrases - Introduction phrases like greetings and saying your name. - Sanskrit Grammar - Forming simple sentences using two words. Pronoun + Verb - Sanskrit Numbers - 1 to 20 - Sanskrit Days of the Week - Anything else you want to learn how to say in one of the oldest languages in the world!! NOTE: This is for learners who know nothing or very little and want to learn. If you already know, it might be a review and you are welcome to join. I am excited to meet all of you!

In this series you will learn some helpful tips for overcoming test taking anxiety.
