Maybe you want to do a data/coding passion project to impress colleges you're applying to. This summer bootcamp provides will provide an in-depth and hands-on introduction to R Studio where we will be analyzing and interpreting real world datasets.
This bootcamp has light prerequisites. The bootcamp is beginner-friendly but assumes:
1) Comfort with basic algebra (solving equations, interpreting graphs)
2) Familiarity with scatterplots and concepts like mean, variability, and correlation.
3) No prior experience with R is required. Also, no prior coding experience is required.
Topics covered include: Fitting regression models and interpreting output with R, model diagnostics and assumptions, how to improve a model, multicollinearity, comparing groups with ANOVA, logistic regression, and cross-validation.

THIS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER CYBERSEC CLASSES!
Forget the classes where you’re forced to download random software you don’t understand, or where teachers barely notice if you’re actually learning. I’ve been there—and trust me, it’s frustrating.
This series is different. Here, your learning and participation actually matter. We’re going to focus on understanding real cybersecurity skills, not just clicking through tools you’ve never seen before. Get ready for a class that actually makes sense—and actually sticks with you.
Our Syllabus:
Weeks 1–3: We’ll start with the basics—core cybersecurity theory so everyone has a solid foundation.
Weeks 4–5: You’ll get hands-on with Python for cybersecurity, learning how to use code to solve real problems.
Weeks 6–8: You’ll learn Linux fundamentals, getting comfortable with the operating system most cybersecurity professionals use. (NO DOWNLOAD REQUIRED)
After that: We’ll dive into labs and certifications, putting your skills into action.
By the end of the series, you’ll earn three certificates:
Certificate of Participation – for being part of the journey.
Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate – proving you understand the key concepts.
Python in Cybersecurity Certificate – showing you can apply programming to real-world security challenges."

As an added bonus – to put your research literacy to the test – students will have learn skills and have the chance to prep for the International Research Olympiad, a virtual global competition of over 6,000 students with the Finals hosted at Harvard University.

Do you feel intimidated by lengthy math problems, but still want to pursue a career in STEM?
Do you feel unsure about what STEM is? Or if you fit in?
Have you ever felt like STEM spaces weren't really made for you?
If sooo... then this is absolutely the place for you!!
This bootcamp was created by a Black girl who was often the only POC in STEM spaces. Frequently, I felt extremely awkward, left out, or just totally felt like I didn't belong. Reflecting on this, I realized it wasn't just me who felt this way, but others as well. In reality, it has nothing to do with intelligence or ability, but with accessibility and support.
This bootcamp was created for underrepresented students in STEM (for example, students of color, women, queer people, first-generation, etc), but anyone who wants to learn about initiatives and opportunities is welcome to join.
We'll talk about everything STEM, what different fields look like, how to get started, how to build confidence, and much more :)

If you already know some basic Chinese but don’t have enough vocabulary to communicate comfortably with others, this course is for you. Want to have simple conversations with native Chinese speakers? We’ll also practice real-life dialogues in class!
No previous Chinese-learning experience? That’s okay — starting with vocabulary is a great first step! And also there's many ither beginners in this series, so no pressure, learn while having fun!
