About

Interested in bringing science to life for young kids in your community? This series is designed to train and support new MindBloom Chapter Leaders and Volunteers as they prepare to launch their own local science sessions for ages 5–8.

You’ll learn how to:
Plan and lead age-appropriate, hands-on science workshops. Use our ready-to-go lesson plans and materials. Manage young learners and keep sessions engaging. Adapt activities for different settings (schools, camps, libraries, virtual). Track impact and log volunteer hours
Each session includes practical tips, real examples, and Q&A. You’ll also connect with fellow leaders from around the world!

🎓 Perfect for:
Teens or students interested in STEM education. Volunteers wanting to make an impact locally. Anyone excited about teaching science in a fun, creative way — no prior experience needed!

Hi, I'm Neja! I'm here to help you with Math—whether you're tackling a tough concept, studying for a test, or working through homework. I scored a 790 on the SAT Math section and have helped many students prepare for the exam. I also lead workshops on the college admissions process, drawing from my own recent experience. I love learning about Math and Science, and I’m passionate about helping others build confidence and enjoy these subjects too.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

To get the most out of this training and be officially recognized as a MindBloom Chapter Leader or Volunteer, participants are expected to:

-Attend at least 3 out of 4 live sessions (or watch the recordings if unable to attend live).

-Be actively engaged, participate in breakout discussions, and complete simple planning tasks between sessions.

- Notify the host in advance if you’re unable to attend a session.

- Complete the final reflection and activity plan to receive your certificate.

Day 1 is all about introducing future MindBloom Leaders to the heart of our mission: bringing science to life for kids ages 5–8. You’ll learn how to teach scientific concepts in fun, age-appropriate ways and get hands-on with real lesson planning. By the end of this session, you’ll have selected your activity, built your workshop outline, and prepared to teach your first session!
