We will go through all of Algebra 2 on Khan Academy. This will be a comprehensive review for anyone looking to ace this subject.

In this 12-session series, we will be having a deep of all the topics of Algebra 2 to prepare you for school. Each class, I will cover one topic from Khan Academy. I will teach the topics as we go along the class and then we will go through respective exercises to practice what we learned. Our schedule is not rigid and will adapt based on the learner and their needs. Overall, this is a very interactive course with an adaptive pace. I really look forward to working with all of you!

I plan to go over everything Polynomials as they are the base for all of Algebra 2, Exponential and Logarithm models, and the basics of Trigonometry! Whether you're taking Algebra 2 over the summer, getting a head start for the fall, or are just interested in advancing in math, this session is open to all! All you need to participate is a pencil, a sheet of paper, and a curious mind!

Each session, you as learners pick what we will do. We can either do sessions practicing klan academy questions, study groups (studying on random questions together), or homework help. Hi! In this series, we will cover all of Algebra 2. We will go over the topics through lessons and lots of practice. The goal will be to cover a unit over one or two sessions. We'll meet every Wednesday from 8-9 pm EST over 12 weeks.

In this course we will have a fast paced course at a higher level. We will try and focus on helping students *understand* rather than memorization. When I say speed, I don't mean we will learn how to speed solve problems, it just means the course will run fast. Everyday at 3 PM West Coast time (PST) and 6 PM EST East Coast

In this course, we will be going over MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8, AMC 10, and beyond depending on the skill level of the class. Why should you take this course? Although not necessary for school math, the methods taught in this class can be very beneficial in solving problems in a "smarter" way. This class will teach you tips and tricks schools tend to not teach. From my personal experience, competition math has made school math very easy and offers me much more insight into understanding concepts. Additionally, competition math can be very helpful in boosting your resume for high school and college. Many of the top schools like MIT ask specifically for your AMC scores, so it will make you stand out from other students. What will we learn in this course? We will spend time learning about the three different categories in math: Algebra, Number Theory, and Counting & Probability. Some examples in each of the categories are: Algebra: Vieta's Formulas, Rational Root Theorem, Simplified Quadratic Formula, Inequalities, Factoring Tricks, Telescoping, etc. Number Theory: Divisibility Rules, Modulus, GCD and LCM, Euclidean Algorithm, Pigeonhole Principle, etc. Counting & Probability: Binomial Theorem, Permutations and Combinations, Casework, Complementary Counting, Stars and Bars, etc. How will the classes operate? A normal class will consist of a 60 minute lecture and practice problems, and a 30 minute problem session with individual help. However, these schedules will fluctuate rapidly as the lectures will most likely require more time.

We will go over any units or topics you are struggling with to help you better understand and be more prepared for exams.
