The class was well-structured, and I appreciated the variety of practice materials and tests provided. After completing this class, I feel much more confident about taking the TOEFL exam. It was especially great to see how you used visuals and drawings to make geometry questions much more clear and easy for the learners to understand, like in the triangle and the circle questions. You also gave profound insight into how to use function notation when asked to compute f(1+g(0)). Keep up the great work!

Yan, you did a great job at asking the learners about the topics they needed most help with. I really liked how you made the learners lead the problem-solving process, while asking questions to better understand their reasoning and thought process. For example, it was great when you asked Zinat for the formula of the volume of the pyramid, and I also liked when you asked "Can you repeat how did you get 64?" in order to better understand Zinat's thought process when dealing with the function notation question. It was great to see how you encouraged your learners to share their screens so as to better explain their reasonings, since it boosts active learning. Additionally, I liked how you asked your learners to think about solving the questions with and without Desmos, therefore providing a broader insight into how to solve each problems. In future sessions, I would recommend checking on the prior knowledge of the students before solving the problems, asking questions like "Are you already familiarized with function notation?" and "Have you already dealt with pyramid volume problems?". Overall, you did an amazing job at actively engaging your learners in the problem-solving process.
