About

Hello! I'm Joe, a high school senior who's homeschooled and has a strong passion for science, technology, engineering, and math. I currently reside in Oregon, USA. I'm glad to be a part of this wonderful community!

I'm here to learn what I don't know and teach what I do know! I can tutor in any math topic ranging from pre-algebra to calculus, with a particular enthusiasm for geometry and trigonometry. I have also received a score of 790 on the Math section of the SAT, so I'm equipped to help you with SAT Math prep as well.

In addition to being a tutor here at Schoolhouse, I serve as a Geometry Subworld Moderator and a Tutor Coach. I was also previously an SAT Bootcamp Guide and a member of the Welcoming Team.

For fun I enjoy computer programming, observing the planets with my refractor telescope, playing pickleball, and hiking the scenic trails of Oregon.

General Geometry Q&A with the Mods

    2nd session

Welcome to a geometry series hosted by all the geometry moderators! We would love to help all the learners in this subworld as much as we can and would love to hear some feedback and answer questions subworld-specific as well. Each session, a moderator will be teaching a topic from HS geometry to prepare everyone for their geometry class the upcoming school year for som time, but most of the time, it will be quite interactive and we will answer general questions/doubts related to geometry that everyone asks(we will try our best with the order) to make sure each person gets something useful out of this series.

Joe is the best tutor ever!!! Instead of just straight up giving the answer to a question, he walks you through it step by step and asks for your thoughts. He is extremely patient and kind which makes him an amazing tutor!
