IGCSE Additional Math topics: Functions
In this series, I will be covering the topic 'Functions' under IGCSE additional maths. Expect to learn about the definition of a function, composite functions, inverse functions, modulus functions (including linear, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions) These might cover topics all the way from Algebra 1 to some of Pre-calculus, as the IGCSE syllabus level does not exactly translate to one of these, but overall this covers functions at a 9-10th grade level
A calculator is recommended for sessions (typically a Casio FX-82ms) as well as pens, pencils and paper. I will aim to finish this series within 6-8 sessions, meeting two to three times a week, for an hour at 5:30pm IST (timings are flexible)
I expect you to know about linear functions and have some idea as to what a function is and how they work before this course, so you can learn at a decent pace
During these sessions, please treat me as a peer who you can approach at any time rather than a strictly formal teacher, and don't stop yourself from asking me any doubts
