I think you did an excellent job when it came to creating a comfortable learning environment. This is because you and your learners were able to turn on their cameras and with your facial expressions, it seems you two were able to form a bond as you seemed content with each other. Even though your learner seemed to be confident with your explanation, which is a good sign, I think you can improve it by giving them a practice problem. I think it's a good idea to ask them whether they know what you said through a problem (if you can of course) and ask more questions along the way to strengthen the confidence.
