Hey there!! In this session, we are going to do the course challenge on Khan Academy together. I will screen share the challenge, and we will go over the question as a group and surf through all the questions, clearing any doubts we encounter along the way! This is a perfect opportunity to evaluate your pre-algebra skills if you're heading into Algebra 1 this school year. I think you did an excellent job when it came to creating a comfortable learning environment. This is because you and your learners were able to turn on their cameras and with your facial expressions, it seems you two were able to form a bond as you seemed content with each other. Even though your learner seemed to be confident with your explanation, which is a good sign, I think you can improve it by giving them a practice problem. I think it's a good idea to ask them whether they know what you said through a problem (if you can of course) and ask more questions along the way to strengthen the confidence.
