As you worked through the math problem that Raheela was struggling with, you consistently asked questions about her calculations during the intermediate steps of squaring the number and calculating the cube root. You made sure Raheela could get her calculator to perform the complex operations efficiently and still follow along the steps that you were presenting clearly on the whiteboard. :)

You are very knowledgeable about Pre-Algebra and simplifying radical expressions! I really like how you were explaining the steps to the question that the learner (Raheela) was struggling with. You were very kind and asked the Raheela about the intermediate steps before calculating the final answer. Keep up the great work! :)

Due to how you actively engage Raheela by asking her questions about every important step and detail of the math problem, Raheela definitely made tremendous progress. This is evidenced by how she was able to quickly solve the rest of the problem on the calculator. I appreciate that you proceeded to show the work algebraically, which is very important in case the calculator isn't allowed, as evidenced by what you said: "Great. Okay, that's impressive. That's really impressive that you did it so fast. Let me just write it out so we can see if we did kind of the same thing." Keep up the great active learner engagement! :)
