In this session we will be discussing and exploring the topic of colonialism and imperialism. We will aim to answer questions such as what is mercantilism? What are modern implications of historical events? Specifically, we will be using examples of French colonization in North Africa during the 19th-20th century. This topic is pertinent to many courses, including AP Human Geography, and AP World History. Through discussions, you will be able to better structure FRQ responses and overall engage as a global citizen.

In this session, we will be looking at the most common debate motions that you can get for BP and CNDF debate styles. We will understand what key words means, and how to structure our debate based on specific motions to maximize our score.

We will go over the formats of the DELF B1 scolaire/junior reading comprehension part (Compréhension écriture), look at some sample reading passages and questions, and also go over any questions that you may have!

In this session, we will be covering blue book test 1 questions. Learners will complete module 1 of the math blue book test 1 section, and we will spend 35 minutes doing module 2 in class. Then, we will spend time reviewing mistakes.

Please come prepared with the bluebook app downloaded and set up with an account on your laptop. You can also send other module 2 questions from other practice tests before the session and we will cover some of them after reviewing blue book test 2 questions.
