Hi! My name is Janelle, and I'm so excited to help you prep for the SAT! I've tutored 3 bootcamp series in the past, and have been a tutor with schoolhouse for about 6 months now. I have also tutored within my community for the past 2 years. I absolutely love having the opportunity to help others deepen their understanding of a variety of concepts, while also showing them that anything can be fun, if you know how to find it! My aim for this series is to not only increase your understanding of SAT concepts, but also show you how to make taking and studying for the SAT more enjoyable overall, through sharing with you a variety of strategies that have helped me! Personally, I used to despise reading. However, a few years ago, I rediscovered my love of fictional works, and, ever since then, I enjoy pretty much any book I can get my hands on (especially fantasy, sci-fi, and romance novels). Thus, I always try to make sessions as exciting as possible, through the integration of mini-games, icebreaker activities, and mini-tips within every session. Hope to see you there! By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.
