You're super awesome! I have been self-studying Calculus because my school doesn't do AP Classes, we can just take the exams. I have been struggling a lot to find resources, etc. and sometimes it's very time consuming. I really enjoy listening to your though process and reasoning, it helps me understand the problem really well. Sometimes I can get the right answer but your ideas make it so much easier and quicker. I really appreciate what you're doing and I wish you all the best!

Probably obvious who this is at this point :) [Trying to get that auditing requirement] I have enjoyed every single one of your sessions so far, because you are so accommodating of everyone's needs! Even though you had less attendees this time, instead of being down, you took the opportunity to explain obscure topics to a deeper degree than usual - nothing short of what I would expect from a tutor of your standard. Thank you for the last 4 weeks! This has truly been helpful for me to pinpoint my mistakes and understand SAT questions that were confusing before. I definitely will use my knowledge and notes from these tutoring lessons to help me prep for the SAT test. I don’t know how but your way of explaining complex topics make so much sense to me. I tend to struggle with a lot of topics because I am definitely more of a hands on learner which was difficult in a virtual school setting since I tend to not ask a lot of questions even though I know I should. I really appreciate how attentive you are and if you continue doing topic like tonight’s, I will probably pass the exam because of you :’).

Hi Karen, The session was very well planned and students were encouraged to try every step. You patiently waited after each step and made sure that everyone tried to redo what you showed. Asking if anyone is struggling and helping them out was amazing too. The idea of having sessions on Photoshop or similar software skills is interesting. I am happy you did that!

Explanations are too good, knows when to stop someone that dominates the session discussion, and really cares if learners are getting the material. As Karen would say herself: "So, give me a rating out of 10:" And the fact of the matter is that this session deserves a resounding 11.

I've always had to think a bit harder about Riemann sums, and now I can process the math behind it much faster. You explained the questions given really well, to such a point that I felt that I could have taught it that way again myself. This was overall a great session!

Slope fields and diff-Eqs are definitely two of my weaker areas in calc, but now I'm a lot more confident with how they work. It was fun how everyone got to contribute to that one slope field question, and it turned out super colorful in the end! Thanks for sharing resources with extra practice questions as well; I will be using those to study a lot in the coming weeks :D

Hi Karen! I'm actually registered for your SAT series but missed this session because of a conflict, so I took this (auditing) as an opportunity to catch up as well. 😄 I just want to say that I really like that you explain why answer choices are wrong (in addition to why one is right, of course). It helps a lot, especially for SAT questions, because learners are then able to understand what part of their thinking led them to the incorrect answer, and they can adapt for next time. As I watched the session, I found myself automatically categorizing the questions into the types that you mentioned in Session #1, and I was able to quickly and accurately respond to almost every single question!
