Session Details

About

In this session, we'll be going over the steps one can taking in researching and documenting their family's story wherever you are in the world with just an internet connection. This session is open to anyone from any background. We'll also be going over the importance of sharing this information and reviving lost stories. I'm hoping we can lead a discussion that can inspire some of you to do this on your own. - Free Resources - Tips & Tricks - Interviewing Relatives - On-site locations - DNA Testing (Possible risks? & best sites to use)

Tutor Qualifications

I've been researching my own ancestry and family history since I was in 4th grade and have made numerous meaningful discoveries along the way to bring out the joy in old relatives and share histories with younger ones. Now I want to share that knowledge and journey here.
