We will practice paraphrasing on a Khan Academy SAT history practice passage (Federalist 5). As we walk through the passage, I will evaluate your paraphrasing and point out any errors. Then, I will demonstrate how to apply your paraphrasing to the answer choices. This practice is a great way to develop reading skills: evaluating the author's use of evidence, drawing the proper conclusions, learning new vocabulary in context.
