About
We will go over the IUPAC nomenclature of carbon compound.
We will cover following topics in the session.
- Importance of nomenclature
- steps of nomenclature
- Root words
- Suffix
- Prefix
We will also go through some practice problems and at the end of the session We will take a quiz on quizizz.
It will be great if you have some basic understanding about Bonding in carbon compound ( like single , double and triple bonds) . Root words and primary suffix in IUPAC nomenclature.
