About
Welcome to Stock Market 101. In this session, I’ll be introducing you to the stock market. It’s history, why it exists, how it works, and it’s role in helping our economy prosper. This is for anyone who’s been interested in the stock market, but still has a fuzzy or no conception of what it is, it’s purpose, or how exactly it works. This is to be a basic introduction, and you need NO prior knowledge to be able to fully assimilate it. If this gets enough interest, we’ll start a series where we’ll probe deeper and deeper into the intricacies of the stock market, and how you can invest in it. If you just want to clear some doubts, terms or concepts, feel free to join!
Tutor Qualifications
I love the stock market. Ever since I first learned about it 4 years back, I've been on a journey to accumulate as much knowledge about investing and stocks as I can. I spend every free minute devouring books on the subject, and as a result, built up a decent amount of knowledge on the subject, which I'd love to share with others interested in it. I've read over 50 books on the subject and done 2 courses (Financial Analysis and Financial Markets) by MIT and Yale respectively. I can ramble on for hours on the subject, and I've taught the basics of the subject to several interested people. I've now decided to bring that tutoring to Schoolhouse, where anybody interested can tune in.
