About

Hi, my name is Jessie and I am excited to meet other students to help with SAT prep! We will do practice sections, cover some SAT concepts, and go over specific problems. I will tailor the bootcamp to what you prefer to focus on. I would recommend doing additional SAT math practice tests outside of this bootcamp as well.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

Session 1

SAT Math

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we’ll take a practice exam (no calculator section). Afterwards, we will review the exam and work through any questions you’d like to go over.

SAT Math

We will cover some testing tips for the SAT, then we will cover some topics and concepts that have been challenging to learners in this series so far. We will go over some questions from the practice test we took last session.

SAT Math

We will take the calculator section practice exam in its entirety and review some questions with the time left over.

SAT Math

In this session, we will continue to cover concepts and practice difficult topics on the SAT Math exam. We will review the questions from the calculator section that we took last session.

This session is entirely dedicated to targeted practice on some of the topics that have been identified as most challenging to the learners in this series.

In this session, we’ll take a full calculator section exam. After that, we’ll spend some time reviewing questions.

In this session, we will cover concepts and practice challenging topics. We will spend time reviewing the calculator practice test from the last session. Lastly, we will wrap everything up and provide some final words of advice/encouragement! Good luck on your SAT!
