Series Details

About

We will be going through some basics of heredity and genetics in four main sections: Mendel's laws/intro to genetics, DNA and its processes, pedigrees, and karyotypes. This is meant to be a very basic series, so no prior experience is necessary! I will just be discussing some interesting topics that I've learned. Feel free to join if you're curious about genetics, or if you're just bored and you want to learn something new. :) I will add office hours and review meetings as necessary. *Times are subject to change

Tutor Qualifications

I taught a similar series for a summer camp; I have studied this topic through Science Olympiad events like Heredity (middle school) and Cell Biology (high school).

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

While each session is relatively independent of the other, it is definitely helpful to have some understanding of the previous concepts. Feel free to attend whichever sessions pique your interest, but keep in mind this is a relatively short series!
