About

We'll learn the basics of 3D modeling using Onshape. No experience required. We'll learn how to create parts like a coffee cup or a wheel, and then move on to objects with moving parts, like a drawer.

Tutor Qualifications

I have been doing 3D modeling for 2 years and have taught students 3D modeling before. I am also the CAD lead in my school's Robotics Team.

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, and I'm a junior in high school. I am interested and tutor in robotics and math. I am excited to help other people form a better understanding of topics. Outside of school and studying, I enjoy reading and playing ultimate frisbee. I'm excited to be a part of Schoolhouse!

We'll introduce ourselves and get to know each other, then go over the basic principles of CAD. Then, we'll go over 2D sketches and turning sketches into a 3D part. By the end of this session, everyone should have an Onshape account and have created a lego brick and plate.
