About

We'll go through tricks (that helped me score 770 for dSAT English :) for every question type, and what to look out for. Throughout, we'll practice solving a ton of questions on each question type and discuss them - I'll help you understand why choices may be wrong too using elimination. This session will be tailored to what *you* need. Tell me on this session's group chat if you'd like help with anything in particular :) I'll schedule more sessions for the next week after this week's sessions!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

If you miss a session, you'll miss the discussions we had on certain topics, so try not to! :)

I'll share my slides, though, so you can review them if you're unable to attend a session.

About the Tutor

Hi :) A rising high school junior here! I’m a platform-agnostic tech geek who’s ecstatic about building PCs, modding tech, coding, gaming, and VR :3 I love philosophy, literature, science & the scientific method, pedagogy, and math :] The prospect of enabling accessible education inspires me - it’d be my pleasure to patiently help you learn :D I love to emphasize that it's not your fault if you haven't understood something - no question is too 'dumb' to ask, and I don't mind going over whatever you find challenging in detail until you get it! :)

Session 9

Catchup

Recap continuation - question practice! During the first recap session (for people who were new to this series), we decided that it's most efficient for you to go through the slides/Khan Academy lessons on the topics yourself, and have a question practice & discussion session on the topics together - this is it! If you need any help with a certain topic's theory though, I'm always a Schoolhouse DM away :) PS, you'll find my slides (summaries of each Khan Academy lesson) on this series's group chat. Feel free to join if you've already attended this series's sessions and would like more practice, but remember that I'll be covering questions similar to what we've done before!

Session 10

SAT Reading & Writing

We're approaching the end of this series! We'll cover any remaining 'Boundaries' advanced questions, and then based on what you all decide, we can have a few timed test-day-like mock tests on the dSAT English section :3 Or the Khan Academy course challenges as a timed test? We'll decide the previous day :) And of course, if there's anything in dSAT English where *you* could use some personal extra help, we can do that :]

Session 11

SAT Reading & Writing

(cue the drumroll 🥁) This is the final session! :3 There'll be a timed test (test day like) on the entirety of dSAT English that you'll take on this session. Later, I'll help with the questions that y'all found difficult! As an aside, I'm really proud of each of your resolution and hard work. The mere fact that you attended sessions like these (of your own accord!) exemplifies that. It *will* pay off :) I wish you the best with everything you've got coming ahead! :D And finally, if there's anything in dSAT English where *you* could use some personal extra help, we can do that :]
