About

(NOTE: There is also a session covering the same content that starts at 11:30 am PST!) Each session we will be going over a new section of Angles that lines up with the Khan Academy curriculum. Key concepts will be introduced, and we will be doing practice problems and review to familiarize learners with each concept.

Please be responsible and don't sign up for a session that you don't plan to attend. A few absences are fine, but any more and you should let me know what's going on or if you'd like to be withdrawn.

Angles

Introduction to Angles- in this session, we will be going over basics of angles: naming angles, what constitutes an angle, how angles are measured, angle types (acute, obtuse, right, straight), and comparing angle measures.

Angles Beyond- In this session, we will be going over angles in shapes: reviewing angle types (acute, obtuse, right, straight), circles and benchmark arc measures, recognizing angles in figures, and general benchmark angles in polygons.

Angles

Angles in Transversals- In this session, we will be going over angles in transversals and how they relate to one another: identifying complementary, supplementary, and vertical angles, parallel lines and angle relationships, and line/angle proofs.

NON-MANDATORY- Just a catch-up office hours-style meeting in case anyone has any questions about a particular concept we covered, or general review. I am happy to assist you and clarify any of your confusions.
