We'll learn the basics of vocal technique, learn ways to become a better musician, and in the end, we will even have a mini-concert.
Topics we will cover include: breath support, performance technique, how to stay on pitch, skills that will help you as a musician, how to read music, and more!
This series is for beginning singers and music lovers. Lessons will consist of lectures, examples, and exercises.
Sessions will be added as the series goes on, for now, I plan on having around ten sessions
Tutor Qualifications
I'm a CSMA Merit Scholar Level C singer, I started singing in November 2020. I also have been playing the piano for over 7 years.

We will go over what to expect from this course and the potential songs we will want to use in this course as examples. Additionally, we will begin our talk on breath support and posture. We will be learning this through videos, exercises, and demonstrations by me.

I plan on going into the first register, chest voice. We will learn about what chest voice is and how it is used in singing! We will follow this with exercises and demonstrations by me. Additionally, we will listen to a few songs that will display the use of "Chest Voice" so we can better understand it.
