About

Hello there! I see that SHW seems to have quite a lot of readers and bookworms, and well, I'm also one of them! So I thought I'd make a book club myself too... and what my favorite kinds of books are... middle-grade ones. Many think it's just for young kids, but believe me, it's even better than adult ones (much better without the inappropriate scenes). We'll have one every week and we'll read MG books of all genres, whether contemporaries, fantasy, sci-fi, poetry, thriller, and from different cultures and places! If you're interested, then please join us! We'll have a great time for sure!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

You can join in as you please, but I'd strongly recommend that you join often! If you haven't joined a past session and joined the other which is the continuation of the same book, then please read both parts as we'll have quizzes too!

I'm a senior in a maths high school. I love everything math and science-related so I'd love to tutor you guys! I'm confident in tutoring middle school students and Algebra I and Geometry! I also would love to tutor science, computer science, and maybe even psychology too! I also really love arts, reading, and writing!

Welcome to my MG book club! In the first session, we'll just discuss middle-grade books in general, and choose the first one we'll read together! Come on, be comfortable, and read with us!

Now we'll discuss our first book which is a sci-fi one called Space Case by Stuart Gibbs in the Moon Base Alpha Series. You should read up to chapter 11. We'll discuss it together, share what we liked most, what we think will happen, and do some fun quizzes!

Now we will finish all of the book Space Case by Stuart Gibbs in the Moon Base Alpha Series. We'll be talking about what we liked most, if we predicted the ending, our favorite characters, and do some fun quiz. In the end we'll choose the next book we'll be reading in the fantasy genre.

Catchup

We'll be talking about the book Space Case which we should have finished by now. We'll do some fun quizzes and games and then we'll choose together the next MG book we'll be reading on the topic of Black History Month. So we'll read a book by a black author, a black MC, and a black story. Please join us, and let's have fun and also educate ourselves in the process!
