Hi there! I'm Hotaru — a high school student from the U.S. with a big passion for learning and plans to pursue a career in medicine. I love breaking down tough concepts and helping others feel confident in what they’re learning. I tutor all levels of math (up through calculus) and also enjoy working with students on reading and writing — especially as an editor on the Schoolhouse Blog Team! I'm (mostly!) fluent in Japanese, so I'm happy to support language learners as well. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll probably find me reading, running, or baking something sweet. :)
