Hi there! I'm Hotaru — a high school student from the U.S. with a passion for learning and plans to pursue a career in medicine. I love helping others feel confident in what they’re learning through tutoring.

I tutor all levels of math (up through calculus) and also enjoy working with students on reading and writing — especially as an editor on the Schoolhouse Blog Team! I'm happy to support language learners in beginner Japanese as well.

When I’m not tutoring, you’ll probably find me reading, running, or baking something sweet. :)
