About

Hi! My name is Han and I am a current sophomore in high school, living in North Carolina. When I took the SAT last year, I scored a 760 in the math section, and recently scored a 35 on the Math ACT. An interesting thing about me is that I finished all of my high school math courses just before high school started, which meant that I had to take most of my math classes at my local community college. I have participated in and won multiple mathematics competitions, most notably an individual Award of Merit in the AMATYC (American Mathematical Association for Two-Year Colleges) Student Math League, as well as a Second Place Medal in the NCMATYC (North Carolina) Math League! Aside from math, I am currently studying in the biomedical field, even having done research analysis at the Stanford University School of Radiology! I am the leader of multiple STEM clubs at my school (such as the math team) and have plenty of experience tutoring and helping others in their math schoolwork. While I understand that the SAT is both important and stressful, my goal for this program is to help improve my own skills at teaching and to get to know others better, while also helping my schoolmates increase their scores on the SAT. Don't worry, math isn't always as hard as it seems. I will try to explain things as simply as possible so that each person will get their opportunity to succeed. I just want to say that this is a very safe learning environment, and I am thankful for the opportunity to be here. Thanks for reading!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.
