🧠 Session 2: Can Consciousness Be Simulated?

What actually makes us conscious—and could a machine ever have that too?I
n this session, we’ll explore one of the most mind-bending questions in both philosophy and AI: Can consciousness be created… or is it something only living beings can have? If a machine can think, feel, or even say “I exist”—does that make it conscious?
We’ll open with a free discussion where everyone can share their thoughts on what consciousness even is. Then we’ll dive into the deeper philosophical questions behind simulations, dreams, identity, and what separates “real” from “artificial.” You’ll hear perspectives from thinkers, sci-fi, and even real AI research—but most importantly, you’ll get to explore your own.
🤖🌀 If your brain feels like it’s glitching by the end of this one… you’re doing it right.
No prior knowledge needed—just curiosity and the courage to question reality itself.

🤖 Session 3: Free Will vs. AI
Do we actually choose anything—or are we just following code?
In this session, we’ll unpack the idea of free will—and how it compares to how machines “make” decisions. If an AI can predict what you’ll do next… are you really choosing it? Or is your brain just another kind of algorithm?
We’ll start with open debate: Do you believe in free will? Can you prove it? Then we’ll explore what philosophers, scientists, and modern AI researchers say about consciousness, determinism, and whether we’re all just playing out a giant script. You’ll also get to test your own “free” decisions—and see how predictable you might actually be.
🤯 Maybe AI doesn’t take away free will… maybe it just shows us we never had it.
Come ready to question everything—including yourself.

🧠 Session 4: Ethics of Knowledge and Power
Is all knowledge good? Should we ever choose not to know something?
In this session, we’ll explore how knowledge and power are connected—and what happens when knowledge is used to control, manipulate, or even harm. From science to AI to government secrets, we’ll ask:Should there be limits to what we seek to know? And who gets to decide that?
We’ll open with real-world examples—nuclear weapons, deepfakes, mind-reading tech—and move into philosophical territory: Can power ever be ethical? Is ignorance ever a kind of wisdom? This session is about choices, responsibility, and the unseen costs of knowing too much.
🧬⚖️ “With great knowledge comes great power. But does that mean we should know everything we can?”No right answers—just big questions and the freedom to explore them.

💡 Session 5: You Are Not Your Grades — A Philosophical Reframe
What if your worth can’t be measured by numbers?
In this closing session, we’ll challenge one of the biggest beliefs many students carry: that their grades define who they are.
Together, we’ll explore what identity really is, and whether success, intelligence, or value can truly be measured by a school system. We’ll begin with a powerful question: Who are you, without your achievements? Then we’ll examine what philosophy, psychology, and even spirituality say about self-worth, meaning, and purpose—beyond external validation. This isn’t about rejecting effort or ambition. It’s about freeing yourself from the illusion that you are your outcomes.
🌱 “A tree is still a tree, even before it grows tall. So are you.
”Expect real talk, personal reflection, and the kind of discussion that stays with you long after the session ends.
