About

Through this series, we will learn how to solve quadratic equations and graph quadratic functions. After this series, you should attain a basic to a proficient understanding of what quadratic equations and functions are, and how to work with them. You can join this series for Q&A only, where answers will be given during Office Hours sessions. Prerequisite: - You must have a basic skill with factoring. - You must have a basic knowledge of what functions are (preferably knows what linear equations and functions are but it is not required) If you have any questions, let me know in the public discussion below.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

You will be withdrawn from the series if you have more than 2 unexcused absences in a row. Please message the tutor in advance for any absences! The only exception is you are joining with the sole purpose of asking questions regarding quadratic equations and functions.

I'm a high school student and I'm willing to help students in or outside of my school to be more comfortable with topics they might haven't been before. Honors and Awards achieved: - Achieved Excellence Award – Bronze as a qualified finalist at 2021 CWSF (Canada-Wide Science Fair). - Achieved Special Merit Award and displayed exceptional achievement (Ranked 14 out of 257) in the Canadian Chemistry Contest – 2021 Contest. - Won gold in 2020 and 2021 APEGA (The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) Science Olympics. - Achieved the Bronze award in the Secondary category and the Ted Rogers Award at 2021 CARSF (Central Alberta Rotary Science Fair).
