Hi everyone! My name is Arwa and I am an incoming freshman at Northwestern University! I'm hosting this workshop to help you all brainstorm, structure, and write an outstandingly intriguing essay to WOW your admissions officers. This College Admissions Workshop on The Essay is a virtual 4-week workshop designed to  provide you with structure and support to write your college essays this summer. 
﻿
In this workshop, you will:
Learn the purpose and the must-dos of the personal statement 
Learn and practice strategies for picking a prompt, brainstorming, drafting, and revising your writing
Understand the role of supplemental questions and strategies for organizing your questions and responses
Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college.

Hii, I'm Arwa! I'm an incoming freshman at Northwestern University majoring in Neuroscience with plans to attend medical school. My favorite subjects include math (NOT calculus...), chemistry, biology, philosophy, and English.
